Description
So way back in 1994 (I think), a first person shooter called "Marathon" was released by some guys in Chicago. It was an amazing game, and it was also my very first FPS.
Surprisingly enough, there are still people who play this game and its sequels. Think about it. Computer technology advances on a daily basis and there are people who still play a game from waaaay back in 1994!!
Well, I happen to be one of them.
Anyway, as a tribute to that amazing game (and also for fun), I redid the intro and menu screens for Marathon Infinity (third game in Marathon Trilogy).
The images are big. I scaled up the original 640px by 480px images to 1600px by 1200px. Yeah, that should be big enough to make it into a wallpaper if you wish.
If you want them, click the "Download", located in the left side. The download includes the following files:
- Intro screen (1600x1200)
- Menu screen (1600x1200)
- Menu screen with activated buttons (1600x1200)
- Menu screen without the buttons (1600x1200)
- Menu comparison with the original (640x980)
- Incoming Message.txt (basically a Readme file)
EDIT:
Okay, the first image I uploaded had some weird white line on the right. I just fixed it and re-uploaded it. I apologize to the first two people who downloaded the file (oh wait, one of them is probably me.)
